We were so
fortunate.
Hollywood Dun
It was a part of our family for 20 years. Mandy grew up with
him. Actually, we all grew up with him!
He changed our
lives and affected so many others. But for all he did for us, we
are most grateful for the many friends we met over the years who
shared the love of a horse. We treasure every visit, every
photo, and every drawing that was sent. We are deeply touched by
all your kind words and will always greatly appreciate each of
you who were part of his life and who supported Dun It in his
career in so many different ways.
We will always
be grateful,
Tim & Colleen

Dear Collen and Tim,
we would like to communicate our regret
around the probably best Stallion of all times. We mourn
around a great Stallion, which gave us an incomparable son I
ever saw a horse like this. He inherited its friendly
nature and the large readiness to perform from his father.
And if you are sad, looks to his children, In everyone he
lives on. We will always hold Hollywood Dun It in good
memory. Thanks for your efforts in all the years to
promote Hollywood Dun It.
Best regards from Germany,

I cried when I read the news about HDIt.
He truly epitomized the sport of reining as well as many other
disciplines. His beauty and grace will be long held as a
pinnacle in the performance horse industry. I am so glad I
saw him in person at the NRHA Futurity in 1997 when he was
commemorated for his achievements. That was so special and
I will long remember seeing his beautiful face. We mourn
along with you and thank you for your efforts in his legacy in
the horse world.

I am very sorry to read about Your loss.
Hollywood Dun It will always be a prominent landmark in the
Quarter Horse World, he was a great horse and had the luck to
meet a great trainer to make a great team.
I am sure he will appreciate Your wise decision to spare him
pain, in the way animals do.
I wish You all strength and also other horses for other
"stories".

I was very saddened to hear of the passing
of Hollywood Dun It. Words can not express the loss and
sorrow of your GREAT horse. I am an urologist and take
care of testicular cancer patients. Their pain and
suffering can be unbearable to watch. We love our animals
and the last thing we wants to do is watch them suffer.
You will be in my prayers.

Sincere condolences on the loss of a legend. Hollywood Dun It
was such an influence on the reining industry, as well as just about
every other discipline. And he stamped his get with that
beautiful head, kind eye and wonderful color.
I know this because I have a red dun daughter by him who is just
gorgeous - the feminine version of his face and the kindest eye...
Thankfully, Hollywood Dun It's influence will be felt for a long
time to come.

Dear Friends:
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Hollywood Dun It.
His legacy will not soon be forgotten and he was privileged to have
been under the care of the McQuay family for so many years. We
truly know how difficult it is to say goodbye to that one great
horse who has changed your lives. They can never be replaced.

When I showed up for my reining lesson last week at Skyline Ranch
here in Colorado, we were all bummed out about Hollywood Dun It.
What an incredible ambassador he was for the breed and the sport of
reining. How fortunate you are to have had him in your lives
for so long. He's only gone in the flesh, because his amazing
babies are carrying on his awesome genes and athleticism. All
the best to you, McQuay family.

To
Tim, Colleen, and Jennifer,
I just
learned of the passing of your boy, and I wanted to extend my
deepest sympathy to you. I have always loved this horse, and
it has always been my dream to own one of his offspring, or even
just TOUCH one. To me, he IS the perfect Reining Horse.
On this particular day, I have been
struggling with the thought of putting my own horse down, and being
already emotional, the news of Hollywood Dun It's passing hit
especially hard.
I am a 26 year old woman. That being
said, I have ONE Breyer horse, on display, where I can enjoy looking
at it. And that Breyer is a model of Hollywood Dun It's
passing hit especially hard.
That's how I will remember him, as will so
many others that loved him. Thank you, Tim and Colleen, for
allowing us all to "know" such a wonderful horse. God Bless
you.

I
know you guys have probably received a lot of these e-mails but
heres another one for you guys. I AM SO SORRY ON THE LOSS OF
"DUN IT"!!! It brings even me to tears because when I first
saw him in a picture about 8 years ago, I fell in love with him.
It has always been my dream to own one of his foals but now it looks
like that won't happen any time soon. I will continue saving
so that way someday I will be able to buy on of his foals one day.
Again, I am so sorry on the loss. Its a great loss to the AQHA
industry and everyone will miss him, especially me (I have a whole
wall full of pictures of him and his foals. I will take a
picture of it and send it to you guys if I can). WOW, I still
can't believe that this happened...I will be in shock for the next
couple days now...I hope everyone is doing ok over there and I wish
you guys luck with this years "Dun It" babies!!

Dear Tim and Colleen McQuay,
Today
the terrible news I read that Hollywood Dun It is deceased.
Unfortunately I have never the privilege to personally met this
horse. This so important for sport meening horse, for your
company and of course for you personal such important horse.
It is terrible to must hear that you must put down your own horse.
I have much respect for you that you made this difficult choice for
you as person, but the human choice for the horse have been possible
choose. The distance of my country to your country is the
barrieaire that I have never met Hollywood Dun It personal.
For a long time I was surging for beautiful blood line for my merry
but unfortunately Hollywood Dun It was financially not possible.
I look back on splendid memories and have been fantastically
occurred, and impressive attitude !! I wish you all strength
needed with this heavy loss.
Yours sincerely,

Dear McQuay Stables,
Hello My name is Am Thornhill and I am from GroveHill Alabama.
Hollywood Dun It has always been my all-time favorite horse and will
always be. When I saw that he was put down I broke out in
tears. I had been working on a letter to send you in the mail
for about a month, telling you what a wonderful and amazing horse
you had. He will never be forgotten. Hollywood Dun It
has been one of the most influential sire and all-around horse I
have ever seen. I think everyone who ever saw him fell in
love. Hopefully his legacy will be carried on though one of
his gorgeous foals.

I
am so sorry to hear about the loss of Hollywood Dun It. The
horse world has certainly lost a founding father. No horse
will ever be able to compare to the beauty and talent he possessed.
I know just how close to family a horse becomes, and my guess is
that he was a cherished pet first and foremost. Probably much
more. I send my deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Dear Tim and Colleen,
I wrote to you
several days ago about Hollywood Dun It and told you about
my new colt and how he was an answer to a prayer. I wanted
to share these photos with you because I feel he shows best
the disposition that Hollywood Dun It passes on. Though I
never had the opportunity to see Hollywood Dun It in person
I fell in-love with his son Hollywooddunit Again for his
calmness as well as athleticism, to find out that this was
inherited by his sire, 'Hollywood Dun It'. As you can see by
the photos he is very much everyone's little man so to
speak. The 1st photo of my son Justin, age 15, 2nd both sons
Justin and Jamie, dogs and his mom Precious, 3rd my son

do not put things off, if you are going to do something do it in

Dear Tim & Colleen,
I sat down just tonight

page announcing the passing of (what I feel is) the greatest
horse on this entire earth I was brought to tears. I had always
dreamed of seeing this stunningly beautiful stallion and of
breeding my dun mare to him but it will remain a dream and I
will always love this horse at least I have the breyer version
of him to cherish for forever. I am truly sorry for your lose,
but ever so thankful that he didn't have to suffer.

Dear Tim and Colleen,
A friend just sent me this link to
your website and encouraged me to send you this picture of a Dun It
daughter I bought last year after the futurity. I'm sure you will
remember her as I bought her from Frank Costantini and he told me
she had spent time in training at your place.
I think this picture, which was taken
in Tampa, FL, earlier this year shows some of Dun It's best
qualities. He certainly "stamped" this daughter out of Pretty Nifty
BH, with his gorgeous head, color and huge stop. I always have to
laugh when people ask me how she is bred - it looks pretty obvious
to me!
Although I was sad to learn of Dun
It's passing, I couldn't think of a better time to own a nice
daughter of him. Please accept my condolences and I hope to see all
of you at the Congress.

I am so sorry for your loss....
I broke down in tears when I read he was gone. I can't imagine
the grief you are having to deal with, and I do applaud you for
making the decision for Hollywood Dun It not to suffer. That
is a gift you gave back to him.....
I have followed him in the news
for a VERY long time... and just started a small breeding
operation 3 years ago..... he was my "dream sire"..... the one
I choose, "when I make it", to breed one of my mares too.....
his legend will live on through his progeny and there are a lot
of GREAT ones to choose from to fulfill my dream....
There will never be another
Hollywood Dun It, and he will never be forgotten......
God Bless you and keep you
through your grief... look to Him for your comfort, and you will
feel His comfort from above and feel one GREAT STALLION shining
down on you....

Dear Tim and Colleen,
I love to tell friends about
our visit to McQuay Stables. Everybody says that my eyes light
up and my smile broadens as I tell them about that special day.
Meeting Hollywood Dun It was amazing. For me, it was like
meeting the world's most famous movie star. He had a regal
presence, yet was so very sweet and kind.
We are proud to own a
look-alike yearling son. He is an absolute treasure living on
our farm! I like to think that Hollywood Dun It can look down
from his pasture in heaven and keep watch over him.
I cry tears of joy for
everybody that was lucky enough to have Hollywood Dun It as a
part of their lives.

Dear Tim and Colleen,
I am so sorry about your loss! I heard
the day after, and my eyes filled up with tears!
You say that 'when you believe in a
Hollywood Dun It, dreams come true.' Those words are strong
and can't even begin to explain my life since a Dun It
walked into my life! My dream for reining and owning a Dun
It began in '98 when I got my favorite Breyer horse and Dun
It has sat in my window, alone, as my inspiration to reach
for the stars and turn my dreams into reality. Also, as
symbol of my goal to build a reining stallion from the
ground up. Late '03 I bought a beautiful son of Dun It With
A Twist. Since 'Romeo' has walked into my life, my dream
began soaring and opportunities have began paving my road
for the future. He is everything a Dun It should be and
more. He is the most affectionate animal I have ever owned,
seen or been blessed to know. He is a barn favorite of more
than 40 horses. He is so intelligent! In fact, after starting
a Dun It, I don't really want anything but Dun It's. They
are amazingly bright individuals. And, talent! Wow! Not to
mention, he's a 3 year old stallion. But, when it all comes
down to it, I believed in a Dun It, and my dreams are coming
true! I truly believe that Hollywood Dun It is one of the
greatest stallions to walk into the reining world and stamp
his signature on so many awesome horses, including his
grandget. We'll all remember Hollywood Dun It for years to
come and he'll never be forgotten. His legacy will live on
and dreams will continue to come true by believing in him.
This is only a yearling picture of our
colt ~ but I'm sure you'll see Dun It and Twist written all
over him. Hope to see you at the NRHA Derby next year!

Dear Colleen and Tim,
I was saddened to hear of your loss of Hollywood Dun It. My
sincere condolences and my thoughts are with you. My life was
truly blessed last October when my husband purchased Yes Ima Dun
It for me. This is my first year showing, and Smokie and I are
having a great season in Florida. He is the most talented,
intelligent and athletic. His personality is amazing and unlike
any other horse I have owned in thirty years of riding and
showing. He is a character, and fulfills my life. We are truly
a team. He is a keeper! I know your loss is irreplaceable.
Please know that his offspring lives on strong, carrying on his
proud character and heritage in such a positive way! I have
included a snap of Smokie and I showing in a Florida Reining
show in Miami this past March 2005. I wish I had a barn full of
Hollywood Dun It's offspring.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. McQuay, I am so sorry for the passing of Hollywood Dun It, as I
believe him to be the
greatest horse the world has ever seen and simply sobbed when I
heard the news. My parents gave me the Breyer's horse model of Dun It right
after his passing, and my model has seventy-foot long slides nearly every
day! I also have my own Dun It granddaughter, Holly Pine Dun It, a daughter of
Dun Its Lucky Charm, and she is the most incredible horse. She has her
grandfather's loving and gentle nature, and my trainer, Eddie Biegler, and his
wife, Dee, laugh that she never even bucked the first time she wore a saddle. We
like to say she acts like a princess, not a horse! She, fortunately, also got his
looks, and is a beautiful mare with big eyes and tiger-striped legs. She definitely
inherited her grandpa's talent, too! I have been showing her in reining in
Washington state in the youth 14-18 and rookie classes and my trainer has been showing
her in open classes and she sure knows how to win! She also won everything
she was entered into as a three year old. The other day during practice
Holly Pine and I had a 25 foot sliding stop! She is truly a gift, and we
treasure her as part of the family. I am so grateful to you and to Dun It for giving me my
darling, talented little mare! Dun It will always have a special place in my
heart for his contributions to reining and his contribution to me and my family. Katherine Merck |

I just found the notice that Hollywood has passed. I am very
very shocked. Hollywood was my most favorite horse that ever
lived. He was absolutely beautiful, my favorite color, I am now
really into learning how to do reining and it was all because of
him. I received a video in the mail from the McQuay ranch and
saw the way that horse moved and it just blows me away! I wish
to have one of his foals or even grand foals some day. I emailed
asking what had happen to him and just saw the thing that had
said. I am very shocked that is very terrible news to me! God
please take care of this wonderful, beautiful horse.

I have only been in Reining for 5 years mostly riding in the
youth (this will be my last year.) I can't explain how many
posters and magazine cut outs I have of Hollywood Dunit. I
do not own a Dunit because of low budget but I envy those
who do. I sat down at the kitchen table the other day
reading the lastest issue of the Reiner when I saw the
tribute to Hollywood Dunit and I couldn't move after reading
those words. After calling my mom, I walked into my bedroom
where his pictures cover an entire wall ceiling to floor. I
know that he will be remembered and honored for years
to come and I am so thankful that I was able to witness such
as great horse and legacy.

Hello, my name is Shaun Basch and I live in Michigan. I never got to
see Hollywood Dun It in person, but it had always been one of my
dreams. I fell in love with Hollywood Dun It the moment I saw his
picture on your website. He was gorgeous and I just wish I could've
seen him in action. The funny thing is, a few months after I came
across your legend through the Breyer website I got my first horse.
His name is Boomer's Buckshot (aka Buck) and he's a TB/QH gelding. I
love him more than anything, he's my inspiration. I couldn't imagine
losing him, it would break my heart. I am truly and deeply sorry for
your loss. I may only be 16, but I love to write poetry and was
inspired to write a short poem in dedication to Hollywood Dun It, in
remembrance of him and his accomplishments.
Legends Never Die
Warm eyes, Kind heart, Hollywood Dun It made his mark,
Warm eyes, Kind soul, With his passing he's left a hole,
Our hearts are sad and heavy too, But remembering him, We'll make it through,
Full of drive and like a flame, Ambition accompanied fame, Imagining him across the skies, Running free, Powerful slides,
Thinking of him in the end, We'll never forget, He was and always will be; A legend
Again, I'm deeply sorry for your loss and for the fact this e-mail
is a little delayed, I only recently found out he had passed and I
cried even though I had never met him. I've been trying to get my
hands on a Hollywood Dun It Breyer ever since I got Buck, but now
I'm going to search even harder. Best of luck to you all and send my
love to Dun Gotta Gun and all the other horses at your stables.

Dear
Tim & Colleen,
When I
heard Hollywood Dun It passed away I was in total shock, like a
horse that big could ever die!
I'm
not into Quarter Horses all my life, but I do know that it was
Hollywood Dun It that made me love the breed, I have seen an
article about him in a magazine and fall in love with him ever
since. Hollywood Dun It proved to be one of the biggest Legends
ever! True so many things.
But it
made me aware of this too, since I was so upset and never seen
him for real, Tim and Colleen, how big is his loss to you
guys..... I can't imagine!!
I
think of Hollywood Dun It so many times! We have a wonderful
grandson of him, his name is VDS Doc N Dun It. He is just
wonderful, I'm sure he will make his grandfather very proud. For
us its the closest to Hollywood Dun It we could ever hope for.

Last September I took a trip up to Tioga to set my eyes on Hollywood
Dun It. Wow, even cuter than his pictures! He was busy eating
dinner
but kind enough to turn around and welcome us. He was very friendly
and so very handsome. You just knew this horse was well cared for;
he
was definitely somebody's baby. I made the trip because I wanted to
meet this amazing athlete and sire before he went on to greener
pastures. I am thankful I was able to meet him. We just came back from north Texas Sunday night. We had made
another
trip up to McQuay Stables Saturday and I saw the other extreme. An
empty stall. I had told my mom, "Look, this is were he was." We
just
stared. I looked at all the other stallions....but I kept coming
back
to his empty stall. Well.....although he is gone you still can't help but smile when you
think of how beautiful he was and what he has done for the quarter
horse world. I may not own a Dun It, but I feel great knowing that
I met him. Thank you to McQuay Stables for giving people the
opportunity
to visit your facilities and meet these wonderful beings.

I
am so sorry for your loss of the greatest stallion there ever
was. Like many, that breyer model was my ‘first horse’ and I
would look at him every night and know that one day I would find
my dream horse. I’m thrilled to say that my dream finally came
true when I purchased my first real horse, a tall, beautiful,
yellow buckskin daughter of Hollywood Dun It. “Merc” is more
than I could have ever hoped for. She pulls in purple’s and
plaques without flinching, and she’s so fine tuned to me that I
only have to think a command and she’s right on top of it.
She’s the spitting image of her father in both looks and mannors.
She excels in every new thing I put her through. Thank you so
much, because without you two and your exquisite Dun It, I would
never have had this chance. He was one of God’s gifts to the
horse world. I’m so so very sorry.

Dear Tim & Colleen, we are so sorry for
your loss as well as the worlds loss of such an awesome
horse...we were fortunate to meet him in person a few years back
at your ranch and I have to say that we were in awe of him in
his stall...he was everything we had hoped he would be...we
brought our mare to be bred an she stayed with you for a while,
your staff was really very nice & patient with me and my phone
calls about my baby staying there a few months and took pictures
of "Him" in the pastures as well as my mare during her stay...we
were very thankful for that...with that breeding we were blessed
with a colt that is now in training with Andrea Frappini, then
we bred my mare to Dun It a second time and was blessed with a
filly (picture of "Nico" Dunicolena attached at 2 years old and
"Holly" MissBHavinNHollywood (name pending) at 2 months old). I
have to tell you that both babies are exactly the same in color
& personality...they both have the great disposition that Dun It
had...and we are keeping them both...Hollywood Dun It was such
an awesome reining icon he can never ever be replaced, he will
be in all of our hearts forever...

Dear Tim and Colleen,
I was stopping by your site as usual one afternoon
daydreaming about which yearling filly I would buy when I found out
that Hollywood Dun It had passed away. I could not believe it was
an end of an era, as great legend had passed on. I cried and cried
as he has always been my dream sire to
breed my reining mare to. I had just graduated college and was
finally getting started with my dreams of reining and starting my
very own breeding program. I wanted to share with the both of you a
funny goal that our family had thought about....
We had always wanted our breeding program to be based on
Hollywood Dun It. So, we had been waiting for a nice reining mare
of mine to finish her training and start her show career so we could
breed her to Hollywood Dun It. We had even picked out the names of
the first few horses...lol...Monkey Dun It would be our stallion and
down the road once he had proven himself he
would sire Monkey Spun It and Monkey See and even Monkey Do and so
on. We laughed many evenings over this idea and even came up with a
monkey line of reining equipment that would wear a funny little
monkey silhouette to mark each piece. Anyways, I know the names are
somewhat peculiar but we always got a kick out of the idea and
thought the reining industry could use a
different variety of equine names.
I just wanted to share this with the two of you because even
though it is kind of a comical idea, dreams are made from horses
like Hollywood Dun It. The industry has lost one of its greatest
sires, but I know his spirit and athleticism will live on in all of
his offspring. He has had the unique
ability to stamp his get, and you can always pick out a Dun It!
Thank you both for introducing such wonderful sire to the
performance world.
Sincerely,
Kelly Herron |

It saddened me to hear of his passing, as
I begin to hear so much about him on message boards like
horsecity.com. My dad and I decided to check out a horse auction
a few months ago, and either one of daughters or a mare in foal
to him went through. It saddened me when the mare only reached
$400. Apparently, not a lot of people knew what it meant to have
Hollywood's blood in a horse. If I could've talked my dad into
it, we would've bought her. It broke my heart to see all these
"horse people" not even realize what kind of success the horse
could give them. You were right in putting him down instead of
letting him suffer. I know it is a great loss for the stables,
but his legacy will be carried out by his sons and daughters.
"My patience lies in those that don't say a word. Those that can see
into my soul as I can see into their's. With a horse, no word is
said." -Traci Pursell 2005 |

We have a grandson
of Hollywood Dun It. He is by Zan It, a gorgeous stallion who
possess a lot of Dun Its traits. It's sad to see such a nice
horse pass away. But there is no doubt that with sons of Dun It
out there like Zan It, his legacy will live on. My two year old
colt "Zan Its Miracle" is a fine example of all the reasons why
Hollywood Dun It's are so desirable. This colt is such an
awesome horse. He is a true gentleman. He loves people &
pleasing you. He tries so hard for you. Not only is he one of
the smartest colts I've ever had the privilege of owning, but he
is drop dead gorgeous. It's easy to look at him & tell his
bloodlines. He was started under saddle by Dan Twombly in NB, &
after just sixty days he was being ridden bridleless in the
arena around other horses & behaving like he had a year on
him. We have big plans for him. Hollywood Dun It definitely
marked this colt. Keep a look out for him, I think he'll make
you proud.
God Bless,

Mr. and Mrs. McQuay:
I have been one of Hollywood Dun It's number one fans since I
heard of him years ago. I followed his career with great
fascination and it was always one of my biggest dreams to own a
horse with Dun It breeding. This past spring, my wildest dreams
came true and I was able to purchase a grandson of Hollywood Dun
It from Tom Davis at The Davis Ranch In Brigham City, Utah.
Another of my dreams has been to show in reining. I believe this
may come true for me, and I truly believe my beloved little
palomino horse will help me get there. I am blessed. I will
always remember Hollywood Dun It, The Master, and hope to be
part of the group that carries on his legendary name.
Sincerely,
Phyllis Stuart

Hi,
My name is Lindsay Serfazo, and I am
from Montana. I never got the honor to see Hollywood Dun It
in person or anything. But, I was so sad to here that he
passed away. He was always the horse that I based my dreams
on about my own horses. He was a great horse, and carried
such great genetics. I hope I can come across a horse
someday, that is half as great as Hollywood Dun It was.
Again, I am sorry to here of your loss.

Dear Tim and Colleen,
Back in 2000 when I started to get into the horse business, I
searched long and hard for my dream sire, the one that I would
wanted to have my reference sire out of. When I came across
Hollywood Dun It, everything pointed to him being the one. I was
very fortunate to find a weanling colt that year in
Kansas out of Hollywood Dun It. My stallions name is "Playboys Up N
Dun It", and he has a lot of great charm and attitude that his
father did. He was also raised by Cliff and Gwendy.
At the state fair this year, my wife Jaime and little girl JayCee
where standing by Playboys stall admiring him. As Playboy dropped
his down to let my little girl pet him, another person they did not
know became alarmed and said "you do know that is a stud". My wife
went on to tell him, that she
knew and the studs name is Playboy, etc....
We are just so fortunate to have a stallion out of the great
Hollywood Dun It. There truly is a difference. Thanks so much for
the hard work you put into riding and promoting Hollywood Dun It; it
has allowed many others like us to discover him and to share in his
history.
Here are some photos I would like to share with you. And yes,
Hollywood Dun It does help make dreams come true.
Thanks,
Jon, Jaime, JayCee, and Riley Richter

Dear Mrs. and Mr. McQuay,
My name is
China Vogel and I was and still am a big fan of Hollywood
Dun It. I just got into reining a few years ago and I think
its the greatest thing ever. My mom wanted me to have one of
the best horses to rein on so she got me a Hollywood Dun It
grandaughter baby. She is the greatest horse ever thanks to
him. She has the nicest disposition and looks a lot like her
grandpa. I just wanted to say thank you for making the best
horses on Earth and Im really sorry, its as heart breaking
for me as it is you. I hope everything is going fine and I
hope you know that everybody will remember him forever, and
in his honor, im doing a project on him in school. Thanks
for taking your time to read this.

Hi Tim and Colleen,
I would just like to say sorry about
your lost. In my mind Hollywood Dun It was one of the best
stallions around. I am looking forward to this May when my
mare is going to have a colt out of The Jewel Snipper which
goes back to your stallion and I am excited to have
Hollywood Dun It in the background.
Thanks for raising and showing a great
stallion and I know we all will remember him for all of our
lives. I love how he passed on great traits to all his
offsprings and easily trainable colts.
I will always remember him all of my
life.
Best regards from Olds, Alberta

Hi,
I know it has been a
while now, but I have always wanted to write and say how sorry I
was when you lost Hollywood Dun It. I have loved him from the
first time I saw him! He was truely a remarkable horse!
It was always my
dream to own a horse that resembled him, as well as carried his
bloodline. I was lucky when I found my colt, even though he is a
great grandson, I am truely blessed to own him.
Once again,
I am very sorry for your loss!
This is my colt Voo
Doo Dun It. Everytime I look at him, I remember Hollywood Dun
It.
Sincerely,

Dear McQuay family I wanted to email you and let you know I
recently came into possesion of a Hollywood Dun It grandson. He
is a beautiful golden dun like his grandsire, however he is out
of an apendix mare. I am an endurance competitor and this colt
is 16.2 hands at 3 years of age, he is very leggy. My life time
dream has always been to compete in the Tevis endurance race
(100 miles in a day). One of the things that attracted me to
this colt is his calm disposition and people friendly attitude.
Endurance is an extremely athletic event and I am hoping we do
well, there is a bond that is formed with you and your horse in
endurance riding that is unlike any other bond in the horse
competative world, this bond is extremely close and I am already
impressed with the trust this colt is putting in me, so maybe
this will be my year to reach the Tevis, if I do I'll let you
know and also how we fair. If all of Hollywood Dunt It's colts
have this disposition then the horse world has truly lost one of
it's greatest.
