Smart And Shiney has earned a steady list of accomplishments, most recently in 2008, finishing in the Open Top Ten at the National Reining Horse Association Derby - just following his Open Derby Championship of the 2008 Cowboy Capitol Classic at the Lone Star Arena in Stephenville, Texas. The flashy palomino has a captivating arena presence that has garnered him fans throughout his short career.

In that career, he was also an NRHA Derby Finalist in 2007, and a top twelve finalist at the 2006 National Reining Horse Association Futurity.
