Roger Mussaci was born in Italy but has been in Texas since 2007. From an early age, he demonstrated a love for animals, especially horses. At the age of six, Roger began riding and showing in AQHA performance classes in Italy and Austria shortly after. During the next few years, he qualified for the first NRHA European Championships, where he won the title of European Champion in the Youth 13 & Under class two years in a row. In 2006 & 2007, Roger was in the Top Twenty Standings of the NRHA European Classification, adding to his National Championship title from 2005.

Roger had his first taste of American competition during the 2007 NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma City, where he and Lil Miss Roan Peppy entered the arena as Non Pro Finalists; Roger was the first foreign youth to make the finals! The next year, Roger and Sugar N Ruf earned the title of Reserve Champion in the Youth Non Pro, something Roger was very happy about, though sadly ending his career as a Youth and moving into Non Pro status.

Roger now resides in Tioga, TX and trains full time here at McQuay Stables.
